Hi everyone, through my exploration of finding ways to make my son's learning experience more interesting nad fun; I discovered the most suitable educational software for children three years and up, which focuses specifically on the alphabet and numbers one to one hundred (1-100). The main goal of this software is to allow our toddlers three years and up to learn and practice the alohabet and number skills through interactional software. Another very valuable and easy to use educational software for children is that of the Hooked On Phonics program. this program effectively helps students from as early as age eighteen(18) months and continuing way beyond the ade of eight years old. it provides information on math, reading, spelling and language.

Within the classroom, hooked on phonics allows its users to work at the most suitable pace required so that eventually the user would be able to reach their fullest potential, with a good understanding of what is being learnt.

SCHOOL UPDATES

Presently I am a student at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, Corinth Campus pursuing my Degree in the Bachelor of Education Programme. At the end of my dream is to be a well trained professional teacher, ready to give my best to the nation's children through teaching.

This semester I am required to do Education Technology which really is using technological principles that would help teachers make teaching more interesting and appealing to students and this is so because educational technology by four main perspectives that allow this, they are; Media and Audio-Visual, Instrucational Systems Design, Vocational Training and Computer Systems.

To me a great educational software that can be used is that of Instructional Software and allows for drill and practice tutorials, simulations, instructional games and problem solving. These are quite effective because it gives students leverage out of the classroom.
